Here's Yuki, Quality Assurance Group Leader at Interstellar Technologies!
Yuki leads the team responsible for ensuring quality across every stage of ZERO’s development, from design and manufacturing to testing and launch operations.He and his team established Interstellar’s Top-Level Quality Standards, which define the baseline every component and test must meet to be used in ZERO.

Reflecting on the differences between industries, Yuki explains: “In the automobile industry, mass production means quality is built into the process itself, but with rockets, where production volumes are low, each unit must be inspected and tested individually”

On the collaboration with the Toyota Group, he adds: “By combining the traditional rocket approach with the strengths of the automotive industry, we’re building a new framework. This is key to achieving cost-optimized rockets”

ロケットの設計から製造、試驗、打上げの運用まで、すべての工程で品質を保證することが我々の役割になってます。

基幹ロケットは失敗できないため品質が重視されますが、民間ロケットである我々は過剩な品質を削ぎ落として適切な品質を擔保すること、リスクを取れることが強みだと思うので、それらの思いを品質上位文書に込めました。

自動車は大量生産がゆえに工程で品質保證をしますが、ロケットは少量生産のため、一點一點檢査や試驗で保證していかなければなりません。

從來のロケット業界のやり方を踏襲しつつも自動車業界の良いところを取り入れた、新しい仕組みが我々の低コストロケットを達成できる鍵かなと考えています。
