おわら風の盆とは、富山の八尾町で毎年9月1日から3日にかけて行なわれている富山縣を代表するお祭りです。越中おわら節の哀切感に滿ちた旋律にのって、坂が多い町の道筋で踊り手たちが洗練された踊りを披露します。
The Owara Kazenobon is annual festival in September of Yatsuo town.
It used to be a local folk festival for the inhabitants of the town. However, word about the unique melancholic melodies and mysterious dance has spread, it has been drawing large numbers of spectators from all over the country.
