SORRY IT TOOK ME HALF A YEAR TO START POSTING COVERS AGAIN!!! where do i even start with this. god this song!!!! who else can relate! like. of course there are other fish in the sea - but i want THAT one. yeah, that specific fish. i wanna eat THAT one. even if it has a high mercury content and it'll slowly poison every other aspect of my life and alienate me from all i hold dear. (definitely not speaking from experience)

this was one of my first covers i posted here so it has a special place in my heart. but it was also one of the first songs that really got me to stay in the community, so it's doubly special to me ;; i took my time with the lyrics, to evoke the old set from takumi but also to put a newer more modern spin! one with food puns. and a hidden reference to another deco song.

fun fact: montblanc is, in fact, my favourite dessert of all time. if you're ever in japan, please try the chestnut cake from HARBS. it's my favourite cake ever.
