6K R3D-NE, 30 fps.
Converted from Log3G10 to REC.709 in DaVinci Resolve.
No LUTs applied and no grading, except for minor adjustments to exposure and white balance.

All audio was recorded with the internal microphones.
Normal Vibration Reduction (VR) was enabled.

The data size was enormous, but the editing flexibility was on another level compared to the usual Log footage — it was a lot of fun!

I recorded in RED R3D-NE 6K 30p, which takes up about 15 GB per minute.
With a 512 GB CFexpress B card, that gives roughly 30 minutes of recording time.
The 2 TB drive I used this time allowed for around two hours of footage.

I alternated between ISO 800 (low) and ISO 6400 (high),
generally setting exposure around the midpoint while monitoring the histogram.

The image on the monitor looked quite bright,
but it’s best to rely on the histogram and zebra pattern when shooting.

The time-lapse sequence was captured in four shots.

Most of the footage was handheld,
but I also used a gimbal (provided by FeiyuTech) for a few shots — noted in the captions.
