2026年3月21日に再オープンした青梅鐵道公園。リニューアル前の長期休館となる青梅鐵道公園の最終營業日となった2023年8月31日の園内散策動畫です。
青梅鐵道公園は1962年（昭和37年）に鐵道開業90周年記念事業として、國鐵が開設した、實物の鐵道車兩を中心に保存展示している公園施設です。
園内には明治・大正時代に活躍した蒸氣機關車をはじめ、國指定重要文化財を含む貴重な鐵道車兩を展示。レトロな園内には昔懷かしい遊具もあり、初訪問でも懷かしさを感じる暖かい公園でした。
最後は館長さん、スタッフの方のご挨拶があり、拍車のなか入場門は閉められました。

Reopened! Ome Railway Park Final Day Before Renovation – Full Park Tour & Closing Ceremony

Ome Railway Park reopened on March 21, 2026. This video captures a full walk-through of the park on its final day before a long closure for renovation, August 31, 2023.

Opened in 1962 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Japan’s railway history, the park was established by Japanese National Railways as a facility dedicated to preserving and displaying real railway vehicles.

The park features valuable rolling stock, including steam locomotives from the Meiji and Taisho eras, as well as nationally designated Important Cultural Properties. Alongside the retro atmosphere, visitors can also enjoy nostalgic playground equipment, giving the park a warm and timeless charm—even for first-time visitors.

At the end of the day, the director and staff delivered farewell speeches, and the entrance gate was closed amid applause.
