ここは福岡縣絲島市・櫻井二見ヶ浦。
福岡市内から車で約40分。
美しい海と豐かな山々に圍まれ、近年は觀光地としてだけでなく、移住先としても人氣を集めている場所です。
海岸沿いには、お洒落なカフェやレストランが點在し、この日も多くのカップルや海外からの旅行者たちが、ゆったりとした時間を樂しんでいました。

白い鳥居の先、沖合に寄り添うように佇む「夫婦岩」。
ここ櫻井二見ヶ浦は、絲島を代表する景勝地のひとつとして知られています。
三重縣・伊勢の二見輿玉神社の二見浦が「朝日の二見浦」と稱されるのに對し、ここは「夕日の二見ヶ浦」。
その美しい夕景は「日本の夕陽百選」にも選ばれています。
また、この地は古くから 櫻井神社 の社地として大切に守られてきた、神聖な場所でもあります。

海へ沈む夕陽、ゆっくりと色を變えていく空。
絲島の穩やかな時間がここにありました。

This is Sakurai Futamigaura in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Located about 40 minutes by car from central Fukuoka, this area is surrounded by beautiful seas and lush mountains, and in recent years has become popular not only as a tourist destination, but also as a place to live.
Along the coastline, stylish cafés and restaurants are scattered throughout the area, and on this day as well, many couples and international visitors were enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
Beyond the white torii gate stand the “Meoto Iwa,” or Married Couple Rocks, quietly rising side by side offshore.
Sakurai Futamigaura is known as one of Itoshima’s most iconic scenic spots.
While Futamigaura at Futami Okitama Shrine in Mie Prefecture is celebrated as the “Futamigaura of the Rising Sun,” this place is known as the “Futamigaura of the Setting Sun.”
Its beautiful sunset scenery has also been selected as one of Japan’s “100 Best Sunsets.”
This area has long been regarded as sacred ground, carefully protected as part of the precincts of Sakurai Shrine.
The sun slowly sinking into the sea,
the sky gradually changing its colors.
A quiet and gentle moment of Itoshima was here.
