2025年3月6日、H5系はやぶさ・E6系こまち21號が上野～大宮間走行中に分離し雙方が緊急停止する事故が發生しました。
大事には至らなかったものの、分離事故はこれで2度目で國土交通省は重大インシデントに認定。
これを受けJR東日本は同3月13日まで併結運轉を全て中止しました。
秋田・山形新幹線はそれぞれ盛岡驛、福島驛で折り返し運轉を實施。(つばさ121、160號は通常運行)
秋田新幹線は盛岡驛在來線ホーム、山形新幹線は一部列車が福島驛在來線ホームで折り返し運轉を行いました。
そのため乘客にとっては接續列車への乘り換えや混雜で大變だったはずです。
この動畫は主に併結運轉休止中の新幹線の樣子を福島驛中心に撮影しました。
そして一日も早い原因究明と安全運行を願いたいところです。

On March 6, 2025, H5 Hayabusa and E6 Komachi 21 separated while running between Ueno and Omiya, causing an emergency stop for both trains.
Although the accident was not serious, this was the second separation accident and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism classified it as a Serious Incident.
In response to this, JR East discontinued all coupled train operations until March 13th of the same year.
The Akita and Yamagata Shinkansen lines operated turnaround services at Morioka Station and Fukushima Station, respectively.(The Akita Shinkansen trains turn around at the Morioka Station conventional line platform, and some Yamagata Shinkansen trains turn around at the Fukushima Station conventional line platform.)
This video was shot mainly around Fukushima Station and shows the Shinkansen trains at a time when coupled train operation was discontinued.
We hope that the cause will be identified as soon as possible and that the train will operate safely.
