The fourth-generation Mazda Roadster (ND) embodies the joy of driving with the latest technology.

The special edition 990S is based on the lightest grade S, and is equipped with RAYS forged 16-inch aluminum wheels (RAYS ZE40 RS), which make the total weight 3.2 kg lighter. The unsprung weight has been reduced, and the dampers, coil springs, electric power steering, and engine control have been changed to special settings.

The front brakes are equipped with Brembo large-diameter ventilated disc brakes and opposed 4-piston calipers (painted black + blue lettering), and the rear brake rotors and calipers are painted black.

The vehicle weighs 990 kg, and the front-rear weight distribution is 50:50 due to the engine being mounted in the front midship.
