【作曲者解説より】
　私にも、星々が輝く廣大な夜の空を折に觸れて見つめ、無限の可能性の領域を探し求める時がある。しかし、時が經つにつれ、こうした驚きを味わう瞬間は記憶から消えていくのではないだろうか？
　私は、子どものころの記憶と古代中國の詩に依據して、ハープ、ピアノ、打樂器、フルート、ヴァイオリン、チェロのための本作品《遠き星河の中へ》を作曲した。幼いころ、しばしば夏休みと冬休みに旅行し、山深き所にある母方の祖父母の家を訪れていた。そこに行くために、唯一通じている田舍のバスに乘り、降りたあとは祖父に背負われながら、土でできた道を遠くまで辿っていったのだ。蟲の音、夜の鳥が呼び交わす聲、無數の星が瞬く空の下の香しい大地といった自然の交響樂に浸された、夏の夜のこうした旅路の思い出は、祖父母のもとで過ごした時間の甘美な記憶と相俟って、私の心に懷かしいものとして刻まれている。（ワン・シンヤン）

At times, I too have gazed into the vast starry night sky, exploring realms of limitless possibility. Yet, with the passage of time, I wonder—do these moments of wonder fade from memory?
I drew upon my own childhood memories and an ancient Chinese poem to compose this piece, Plodding into A Starlit Dream /《清梦压星河》for harp, piano, percussion, flute, violin, and cello. During my early years, I often traveled to my maternal grandparents' home, nestled deep in the mountains, during summer and winter vacations. To get there, I would take the only country bus available, and after alighting, my grandfather would carry me on his back as we traversed miles along earthy paths. Those treasured nocturnal journeys, immersed in nature’s symphony—chirping insects, nocturnal birdcalls, and the fragrance of the earth under a sky ablaze with countless stars—remain fondly in my heart, forever entwined with the warmth of time spent with my grandparents.
