『護れ森林』 (マモレシンリン、1936年)

豐かな森林を抱えて各所に製紙工場が稼働していた日本領有の樺太（南樺太）における森林保護の重要性を唱える。參考文獻（『樺太の産業と港灣』）によれば、1934年度の森林收入總額は樺太廳の歳入總額の5割4分を占めていたという。不法伐採や蟲害などの樣々な山林被害の中でも特に火災（山火）防止が重視されており、「警火思想ノ普及ニ付一層ノ努ヲ拂フコトヲ期ス」という山林大會における決議の一部が示され、「山火消防隊」の模擬訓練の樣子が描かれる。中間字幕に示される「山林消防隊歌」の作者庄司彌造は樺太廳の元泊林務署の技師（署長）を務めていた（參考文獻『職員錄』）。元素材はエンドが缺落しており、檢閲などの記録も確認できていないためオリジナルの尺長は不明である。

「フィルムは記録する ―國立映畫アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1927年から1944年までの間に製作された30作品を新たに公開します。今回は、滿洲帝國にかかわる歴史的瞬間をとらえた作品のほか、1930年代に發生した大事故と大災害の記録、戰前の日本の産業の姿を傳える作品など、戰爭へと進む激動の時代を反映した樣々な作品を集めました。國立映畫アーカイブでは、今後も隨時公開作品を増やしていく豫定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。

The seventh edition of this site presents 30 additional titles covering the years from 1927 to 1944. The selection includes a variety of works that reflect the turbulent times leading up to the war, including works that capture historical moments related to the Manchurian Empire, records of major accidents and disasters that occurred in the 1930s, and works that convey the state of Japanese industry before the war.
